PTU Pink Fairy

This tutorial was written by me on July 22, 2013.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version would work.

Artist: The Hunter
You can find his tubes at Scraps and the City  HERE
Do not use this tube unless you have a license.
Scrap Kit:  Ballerina Fairy by Bibi's Collection
You can buy this kit at Scraps and the City  HERE
Mask:  WSL 84  HERE
Font:  Gaheris Demo Font  HERE

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 4.  Open mask and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 4 into selection.  Go to LAYERS –
NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from drop down menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size mask 110%

Let’s do the frame layer now:
Element 122 – C/P and move up just a little bit.
Grab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frames.
SELECTIONS – MODIFY – EXPAND 4 PIXELS.
New Raster Layer.  Move under frame layer.  Open Paper 2.  Copy and paste into selection.
Keep selected.  Open tube if you are using the same one as me.  C/P and move into first part of frame where you like, re-size 80%.  Paste again but make sure it is mirrored.  Re-size 80% and move into place.
SELECTIONS – INVERT – DELETE – INVERT - MERGE DOWN.
Duplicate tube layer.
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to MULTIPLY.  Change OPACITY to 50
SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.
(see tag for placements)

Now for some elements:
Element 15 – C/P and move to left side of tag under frame layers.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 31 – C/P and move up just a little.  Leave in middle but under frame layers.
(see tag for placement)
Element 29 – C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom left corner but under frame layers.
(see tag for placement)
Element 115 – C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to bottom right side of tag.  Make sure that layer is under the frame layers
(see tag for placement)
Element 3 – C/P and move to bottom left side of tag.  Duplicate and move it so it makes one piece.  Leave that layer under frame layer.
(see tag for placement)
Element 8 – C/P and re-size 95%.  Move up just a bit but leave in middle over frame layer.
(see tag for placement)
Element 20 – C/P and move up and over element 8.
(see tag for placement)
Element 96 – C/P and move to the bottom and a bit right.
(see tag for placement)
Element 46 – C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom left of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 59 – C/P and re-size 90%.  Leave it where it is.
(see tag for placement)
Element 119 – C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to top right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 1 – C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to top right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Now the tube layer:
If you are using the same tube as me,
C/P tube and re-size 50%.
Move to bottom right side of tag.
 (see tag for placement)

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7

Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.
