 PTU Butterfly
 
This tutorial was written by me on March 25, 2014.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version will do.

Mask: MPM Mask 26 by Millie's PSP Madness  HERE 

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 3.  Open mask (MPM 26) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 3 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find MPM 26 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Frame 3C/P and move it up and a bit left.  Re-size 75%.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 6.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one(s) as me, grab it now.  I used the CU without the butterflies. 
C/P mirror and move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  
Duplicate the tube layer.  
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to SCREEN.

Some elements now: 
Element 2 - C/P and move to upper left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layers.

Element 9 - C/P and re-size 80%.  Move to top part of frame.  Make sure this layer is OVER the frame layers.  All other layers will be over frame layers also.

Element 4 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom middle of frame.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 15 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left corner of frame.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 20 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom left side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 8 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom left side of tag, but to the right of element 20.
(see tag for placement)
Element 17 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.  Place it in front of element 8.
(see tag for placement)
Element 3 - C/P and re-size 25%.  Move to bottom left corner and to the left of element 17.  Free rotate left 30º.

Wordart - C/P and move to top over frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 13 - C/P and move a bit to left on tag.
(see tag for placement)   

I place the tube layer(s) here:
If you are using the same tube as me, grab her now.  Move her to bottom right corner of tag.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 8.  Open mask and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 8 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

Now for the frame:
Frame 3 - C/P and move down towards the bottom of tag.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 2.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab it now.  C/P and and move her into position.  Duplicate and move copy under frame.  SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.
Grab your magic wand again.  Go to frame layer and click in the middle of frame again.  Grab the eraser tool now.  SELECTION - INVERT and go to original tube layer and then erase the bottom and left side of tube.

Lets do some elements now:
Element 86 - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 31 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to right side of tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 15 - C/P and leave it where it lands.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer.

Element 36 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to left side of element 15.  This layer will also be UNDER the frame layer.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 63 - C/P and re-size 90%.  Move to top part of frame layer.  Make sure this layer is ALSO UNDER the frame layer.

Element 35 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to bottom right side of tag.  Make sure this layer is OVER the frame layers.  All other layers will be above the frame layers now.

Element 77 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to top of element 35.

Element 12 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left side of tag.

Element 73 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom left side of tag in front of element 12.

Element 44 - C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag in front of element 12.

Element 45 - C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to bottom left side of tag but on right side of element 44 in front of element 12.

Element 16 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag in front of element 35.

Element 28 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom of tag.  Mirror and move to right side over element 16.

Mask: WSL 84  HERE 

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 5.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 5 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Element 1C/P and leave it where it lands.  Re-size 85%.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 3.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one(s) as me, grab it now.  C/P and and re-size 60%.  Move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  
Duplicate the tube layer.  
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to SCREEN.

Some elements now: 
Element 24 - C/P and leave it where it lands.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layers.

Element 23 - C/P and re-size 65%.  Move to far right corner.  Make sure this layer is OVER the frame layers.  All other layers will be over frame layers also.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 25 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 27 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to far right side of tag over element 23 layer.  Duplicate and mirror.

 Element 19 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to for left side over element 27 layer.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 20 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 16 - C/P and re-size 65%.  Move to top middle of tag.  Do a quick white drop shadow on this wordart so that it will stand out a bit more.

I place the tube layer(s) here: 
If you are using the same tube(s) as me, grab each now.  C/P and mirror her.  Move to right hand side of tag.  Grab your freehand selection tool.  On the element 20 layer, create a selection of bottom part of element.  Add second part of tube.  Hit DELETE.  Grab third part of tube.  Move into position.

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open PP - A.  Open mask (MB & SW 14) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste PP - A into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find MB & SW 14 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 105%.

 Lets do some elements now:

Element 99 - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.

Element 13 - C/P and move to top middle of tag.

Element 87 - C/P and move to middle left side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 94 - C/P and move to lower left side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 34 - C/P and move up but leave in middle of tag.

Element 77 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to middle of tag.

Element 51 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to middle right side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 78 - C/P and move to lower left side of tag in front of element 51.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 42 - C/P and move to lower right side of tag in front of element 78.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 22 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom right side of tag.

Element 125 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to middle left side of tag.

Element 7 - C/P and move over element 125 on left side of tag.

Element 98 - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

If you are using the same tags as me, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 40%. Move her to right side of tag over element 22.

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 1.  Open mask (WSL 222) and minimize..
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 1 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 222 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.

Now for the frame:
Frame 4 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Make sure your frame layer is highlighted.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of the frame. 
SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 PIXELS - INVERT.   
Add a new raster layer.  C/Paste into selection Paper 6.

Lets do some elements now:
Element 11 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to top left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer.

Element 13 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to right side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.  Make sure this layer is OVER frame layers

Element 41 - C/P and make sure it is in the middle of tag.

Element 50 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left of frame.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 26 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Mirror and move to top right side of tag.
