Tuesday 28 May 2013
So I did a quick tag this afternoon.  I used the fab kit by Devilish Dezines called Victorian Meadow.  You can find the kit HERE

OMG... this tag, won the contest I entered it in.
Here is what was said about this tag: "great use of elements, plenty used but not in a way that its o.t.t, the tube used gives it that Victorian feel thus tying in with the theme of the kit, Victorian Meadow, the colors all go beautifully and the tube again is a great focal point but not too in your face so that it takes the eye's focus away from the rest of the elements, so very nicely balanced all in all and love the placement and again use of elements."
It won me three tubes... YAY.

Here goes:
Start a new image 700 X 700 - Transparent.

Element 22 - C/P and resize 85%

Element 25 - C/P and resize 25% - Move to upper right corner.
Element 5 - C/P and resize 50 % - Move to left (see tag for placement).

If you want to make the tag like mine, this is what I did.
I used the "image" layer that came with my tube.  I C/P the image and moved this behind the previous layer.  I then resized the image 60% and had the face show in the window.  I used the FREEHAND SELECTION tool and created a selection around the window of element 5.  Then I highlighted the "image" layer and went to SELECTIONS - INVERT and hit my delete button.  I then merged element 5 to my image layer.

Frame3 - Resize 70% and move under leave, but above wire layer.  Grab your magic wand and click inside of frame.
SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND - 8
Paper 1 - C/Paste into selection.  SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.

Element 7 - C/P and resize 70% - move to middle of frame and under frame layer.
Change the blend mode of this layer to OVERLAY and change the OPACITY to 57
Highlight frame layer.

Element 19 - C/P and resize 50% - Move to the bottom right of tag.
Element 11 - C/P and resize 30% - Move to bottom right of tag.
Element 1 - C/P and resize 25% - Move above tower.  Duplicate and move the copy layer under tower layer.  Toggle these two layers.  Click on ERASER TOOL.  I used these settings:

Open tube.  C/P and mirror.  Move her so she seems to be sitting on Element 14.
