PTU Talk Nerdy 2 Me
This tutorial was written by me on January 11, 2015.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely
coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Do not use this tube
unless you have a license.
Mask: WSL 84 HERE
Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 4. Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 4 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.
Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 115%.

Let’s start with the mask layer:

Open Paper 4. Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 4 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.
Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 115%.

Grab your magic wand tool and click in the middle of frame.
SELECTIONS - INVERT, grab the eraser tool now. Erase the parts of the original tube you don't want. SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.
Element 12 - C/P and move to upper left side of tag. Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s). Duplicate and flip horizontal and move into place.
Element 15 - C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom middle of tag.
Add drop shadow to layers of your
choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black
Now you can add name
and © information. Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I add
name and © info and then save.

Here goes:
The Template first:
Open template in PSP. Hold down
SHIFT button and tap your “D” key. Close
the original template. Delete the “Credits”
layer with her CR info.
Next I changed the canvas size to 800 X 800.
We are gonna do basically the same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:

Highlight layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper(s) - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT
NONE
Delete layer.
So it will go something like this:
You
will be changing these layers: Rectangle, Square(s) 1,2,3, XeracX, and Certified. We are not changing Certified Background or Stalker.
Highlight Rectangle. Using directions above. Use Paper 5. Rename it Paper 5.
Highlight Square 1, 2, 3. Same as above. Use Paper 8. Rename Paper 8.
Highlight XeracX. Same as above. Use Paper 10. Rename Paper 10. Move this layer to top left corner of tag.
Highlight Certified. Same as above. Use Paper 3. Rename Paper 3. Move this layer to top left corner of tag.

Highlight Square 1, 2, 3. Same as above. Use Paper 8. Rename Paper 8.
Highlight XeracX. Same as above. Use Paper 10. Rename Paper 10. Move this layer to top left corner of tag.

We are gonna use our tube now:
Open tube, choose your favorite version.
Highlight the Paper 10 layer and go to SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE-FLOAT - INVERT.
C/P tube layer, move into position and then hit DELETE. Duplicate tube layer. On the copy of tube layer:
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Open tube, choose your favorite version.
Highlight the Paper 10 layer and go to SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE-FLOAT - INVERT.
C/P tube layer, move into position and then hit DELETE. Duplicate tube layer. On the copy of tube layer:
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original
tube layer and change BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L).

Now for more elements:
Rose Heart - C/P and move this layer over Paper 5. Move it to the middle of this layer.

Bow & Arrow - C/P and make sure this layer is over all other layers. Move to left middle of tag. Duplicate and mirror.

Scattered Hearts - C/P and leave where it lands.
(see tag for placement)
Lipstick Kiss - C/P and re-size 40%. Move to top right corner of tag.

Again with the tube:
If you are using the same tube as me, C/P the version your choosing to use. Re-size by 60%.
Some More Elements:
Flowers - C/P and move to bottom middle of tag over tube.

Here goes:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 17. Open mask (WSL 84)and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 17 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK. Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 115%.
Now for the frame:
Frame - C/P and move up just a little. Make sure it is the highlighted layer. Grab your magic wand. Click in the middle of the frame layer.
Go to SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 PIXELS - INVERT.
Open New Raster Layer. C/Paste into selection Paper 5.
Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using. If you are using the same one as me, Copy the second CU and and paste as a NEW IMAGE. Mirror that CU and then C/P over Paper 5 and then move her into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.
Duplicate the tube layer.
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to SCREEN.
Now under those layers, C/P the drums. Re-size 80%. Move into the middle of the paper layer. SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT. Keep selected still.
Under the Drums layer, C/P the Piano Stairs. Move the stairs into the middle of the paper layer. SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.

Lets do some other elements now:
Keyboard - C/P and move this layer over frame layers. Then move the keyboard over to the left. Duplicate and mirror.

Speakers - C/P and move the speakers up to the top of the tag.

Note Sparkle - C/P and move to the top right corner over the speakers. Duplicate and mirror.

Rock WA - C/P and re-size 60%. Move to upper left side of speakers. Duplicate free rotate 90º right. Move that layer over to the right side of the tag.

Microphone - C/P and re-size 50%. Move to bottom right side of tag. Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Sparkles - C/P and move to upper left side of speaker. Duplicate and mirror.

Notes Bubble - C/P and move to upper left side of tag.

Note Bubble - C/P and move to upper right side of tag.

Hearts - C/P and move to upper middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Headphones - C/P and re-size 40%. Move to middle left side of tag. Duplicate and mirror.

If you are using the same tube as me, C/P and re-size 50%. Move to bottom of frame so it looks like she is sitting on the frame.

Font: Font HERE Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 15. Open mask (WSL 116) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 15 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 116 – OK. Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 105%.
Now for some elements:SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 15 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 116 – OK. Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 105%.
Snow Drift 2 – C/P and move to middle left side of tag. Duplicate and mirror.

Tree – C/P and move this layer in between the two snow drift layers. Then move tree over to the left side of tag.

Snowy Tree – C/P and re-size 50%. Also move this layer between the two snow drift layers. Move it to the left side of other tree.

Bunny - C/P and re-size 30%. Move to upper left side of tag over snow drifts.

Snowy Cluster - C/P and move to upper right side of tag. Duplicate and mirror.

Snowy Wheel – C/P and re-size 75%. Move a little down but still in middle of tag.

Bench – C/P and move a little down and to the right side of tag.

PTU 2013 X Fantasy Girls

Here goes:
The Template first:
Open template in PSP. Hold down
SHIFT button and tap your “D” key. Close
the original template. Delete the “Credits”
layer with her CR info.
I don't like a white background unless I really need one, so I clear the
white background by highlighting the Raster 1layer and go to
EDIT - CLEAR.
EDIT - CLEAR.
Next
I changed the canvas size to 800 X 800. We are gonna do basically the
same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating
myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:
Highlight layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper(s) - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT
NONE
Delete layer.
So it will go something like this:
You
will be changing these layers: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6. We will delete 10 and leave the rest. We will move 6, 7, 8 and 9 down just a little by using the layer link toggle - toggle1 for layers 1,2,3,and 5 and toggle 2 for 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Highlight 1. Using directions above. Use Paper 3. Rename it Paper 3 - 1.
Highlight 2. Same as above. Use Paper 11. Rename Paper 11 - 2.
Highlight 3. Same as above. Use Paper 1. Rename Paper 1 - 3.
Highlight 4. Same as above. Use Paper 2. Rename Paper 2 - 5.
Highlight 5. Same as above. Use Paper 1. Rename Paper 1 - 6.

Open tube, choose your favorite version. C/P and re-size 70%. Move over Paper 1 - 3 and then duplicate tube.
Highlight the Paper 2 - 5 and go to SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE-FLOAT - SELECTIONS - MODIFY - CONTRACT 6 - INVERT, Highlight tube layer, then hit DELETE. Duplicate tube layer. On the copy of tube layer:
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original
tube layer and change BLEND MODE to SCREEN and change the opacity to 61%.

Now for more elements:
Music - C/P and move this layer over Paper 2 - 5 layer and into top left corner. Duplicate and mirror.

Phone - C/P and re-size 50%. Move this layer over Paper 1 - 6 layer. Move this into top left corner over music.

IPod - C/P and re-size 70%. Make this the layer over phone layer. Move to right side of tag over Paper 1-3 layer.

Lips - C/P and re-size 30%. Make this the top layer for now. Mirror and move lips to left corner of layer 7.

Kiss - C/P and re-size 30%. Move Kiss over right corner of layer 7.
(see tag for placement)
Purse - C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Glasses - C/P and re-size 50%. Move to top right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Headphones - C/P and re-size 50%. Move to top right but on left side of glasses.
(see tag for placement)
Skate - C/P and re-size 35%. Mirror and move to bottom right corner of tag. Duplicate and move copy to right just a little.

Now for the tube:
If you are using the same tube as me, C/P the version your choosing to use. Re-size by 50%. Mirror and move tube layer over IPod layer. Make sure they are moved over to the left side of tag.
Now for the mask layer:

Music - C/P and move this layer over Paper 2 - 5 layer and into top left corner. Duplicate and mirror.

Phone - C/P and re-size 50%. Move this layer over Paper 1 - 6 layer. Move this into top left corner over music.

IPod - C/P and re-size 70%. Make this the layer over phone layer. Move to right side of tag over Paper 1-3 layer.

Lips - C/P and re-size 30%. Make this the top layer for now. Mirror and move lips to left corner of layer 7.

Kiss - C/P and re-size 30%. Move Kiss over right corner of layer 7.

Purse - C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom left corner of tag.

Highlight very bottom layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Highlight very bottom layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and paste Paper 5 into Selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED –
CHOOSE WSL 117 from the drop down menu – OK. Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 115%.
Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
