PTU Spring Breeze

This tutorial was written by me on June 6, 2015.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Mask: WSL 3 HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 12.  Open mask (WSL 3) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 12 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 3 – OK.  
Duplicate and merge down.

This will be the frame layer:   
  Frame 3C/P and re-size 75%.  Move it up just a little bit.  
Frame 1 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move it up on top of Frame 3.  
Make sure frame 3 layer is highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 10 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 5.
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P over frame and then move her into position.  Duplicate and move the copy under frame but over paper layer.  SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.
Grab your magic wand tool and click in the middle of frame.   
SELECTIONS - INVERT, grab the eraser tool now.  Erase the parts of the original tube you don't want.  SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.

Now onto some elements: 
Element 8 - C/P and move to right side of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 11 - C/P and move to top, but a bit to the left on tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer(s).

Element 15 - C/P and re-size to 75%.  Move to top left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 14 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to middle right side of frame.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER the frame layer(s), but under original tube layer.

Element 44 - C/P and move to top left side of frame.  Make sure this is also under original tube layer.

 Element 16 - C/P and re-size 50%. Move to left side of frame.  Make sure this is also under original tube layer.

Element 9 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom middle of frame.  Make sure this is also under original tube layer.

Word Art - C/P and re-size to 75%.  Move to bottom middle of frame over element 9.  Make sure this is also under original tube layer.

Element 10 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.  Make sure this and all other elements are OVER the original tube layer.

Element 18 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.

Element 7 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to bottom middle of tag.

 Element 13 - C/P and re-size to 30%.  Move to top left side of tag over element 44.
(see tag for placement)
Element 21 - C/P and re-size to 25%.  Move to upper right side of tag over element 15.

Element 22 - C/P and re-size to 25%.  Move to bottom middle of tag over WORD ART and element 7.

Element 51 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.

Element 24 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to lower left side of tag over element 10.

Element 23 - C/P and re-size to 50%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag and to the right of element 51.

Element 17 - C/P and re-size to 30%.  Move to bottom left side of tag but to the right of element 18.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I add name and © info and then save.

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 10.  Open mask (WSL 3) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 10 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 3 – OK.  
Duplicate and merge down.
New Raster Layer - Open Paper 5.  Open second mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - COPY and paste Paper 5 into selection.
Go to LAYERS - NEW MASK LAYER - FROM IMAGE - SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED - from menu, find WSL 84. - OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:   
  Frame 2C/P and re-size 75%.  Leave it where it lands.  Make sure frame 2 layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 10 pixels.

Element 49 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom right corner of frame.

Element 39 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom right corner of frame over element 49.

 Element 62 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.

Element 48 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left side of tag on right side of element 62.

Element 44 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom middle of tag in front of element 23.

Element 36 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom middle of tag, but just a little bit to the left in front of elements 44 and 48.

Element 7 - C/P and move to bottom right corner of tag in front of element 39.

Element 47 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to middle right side of tag over element 7.

 Element 46 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag in front of, but to the left of element 62

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.

Mask: WSL 84  HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 3.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 3 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down. 
Re-size 115%.
 
This will be the frame layer:   
There is not really a frame layer but here is what I did:
 
Element 7C/P and move it up just a bit.  Make sure your element 7 layer is still highlightedGrab your freehand selection tool.  Click around the inside of the frame of the mirror.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab the close up of the tube now.  Move her into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  Change the blend mode to MULTIPLY and reduce the opacity to 50%.

Now onto some elements: 
  Wordart - C/P and leave where it lands.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the Element 7 layer(s).  Use the drop shadow described below, but change the color to white.  Then do it a second time but change the V & H to -2.

Element 9  - C/P and move it to the bottom middle of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the Element 7 layer(s).

Element 1 - C/P and move so the middle of the bottom of this layer is just below the bottom of element 7.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the Element 7 layer(s).

  Element 14- C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to the bottom of element 7.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER element 7 layer(s).

Element 15 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to the lower right side of tag over element 9.

  Element 5 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to lower left side of tag over element 9.
(see tag for placement)
Element 4 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to the top middle of element 7.
(see tag for placement)
Element 3 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to upper right side of element 1.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 2 - C/P and re-size 25%.  Move to lower middle of tag in front of element 1.

I placed the tube layer(s) here:
So, I did something a little different again.  I changed the size of the tag BEFORE I pasted the tube on the tag.  So, here goes..... Re-size tag from 800 X 800 to 600 X 600 pixels.  Now, if you use the same tube as me, C/P it now.  Mirror and move her to the bottom left corner of tag.

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 3.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 3 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Frame 1C/P and re-size 80%.  Move it up a bit on tag.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 2.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one(s) as me, grab it now.  I used the CU here.  Re-size 80% and mirror and move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  
Duplicate the tube layer.  
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and leave the original tube layer on BURN.

Some elements now: 
Element 24  - C/P and re-size 50%.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Move to upper left corner of tag.

Element 1 - C/P move up a bit in the middle of tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer(s).
(see tag for placement)
Element 5 - C/P and re-size 80%.  Move to bottom middle of tag.  Make sure this and all the rest of the layers are OVER the frame layer(s).

Element 6 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom right side of element 5.  Duplicate and mirror.

 Element 3 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom middle left side of tag in front of element 5.

Element 23 - C/P and re-size 25%.  Move to upper right side of tag over frame.

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 1.  Open mask (MPM 7) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 1 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find MPM 7 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 110%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Frame 1C/P and move it up on tag.  Re-size 80%.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 3.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one(s) as me, grab it now.  I used the CU here. 
C/P and re-size 80%.  Move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  
Duplicate the tube layer.

Element 30 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom middle beneath frame.

 Element 5 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to top left corner of tag.

Element 22 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom middle of tag over element 30.
(see tag for placement)
Element 23 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom middle right side of  element 30.
(see tag for placement)
Element 21 - C/P and move to top right side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 6 - C/P and mirror.  Move to bottom right corner of frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 27 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to middle of element 6.

Element 12 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Mirror and move to left side of element 6.

Element 26 - C/P and mirror.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.

I place the tube layer(s) here:
If you are using the same tube as me, you need to re-size the tag before you add her.  Re-size the whole tag from 800 X 800 to 600 X 600.  C/P and move her to bottom left corner of tag.
