PTU Witch-a-licious

This tutorial was written by me on August 19, 2013.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version would work.

Artist: Elias Chatzoudis
You can find these tubes at Elias Art Shop  HERE
Do not use this tube unless you have a license.
Scrap Kit: Nightmare Romance by Amy Marie's Kits
You can find this exclusive kit at Amy Marie's Kits Store  HERE
Mask: WSL 84 (Wee Scott Lass)  HERE
Template:  Mythical Designs Halloween Template 3  HERE
Font: Janda Quirkygirl Font  HERE

Here goes:
The Template first:
Open template in PSP.  Hold down SHIFT button and tap your “D” key.  Close the original template.  Delete the “Credits” layer with her CR info.
I don't like a white background unless I really need one, so I clear the white background by highlighting the BACKGROUND layer and go to
EDIT - CLEAR.
Next I changed the canvas size to 800 X 800.  We are gonna do basically the same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:

Highlight layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE
Delete layer.

So it will go something like this:
You will be changing these layers: TopSquare, BottomSquare, LRectangle, RRectangle, GradientRectangle, Circle and WordsWithGlow.
For this tag, you can go ahead and delete the WORDS layer.

Highlight TopSquare.  Follow directions above.  Use PP18.  Rename PP18 top.
Highlight BottomSquare.  Same as above.  Use PP18.  Rename PP18 bottom.

Highlight LRectangle.  Same as above.  Use PP16.  Rename PP16 left.
Highlight RRectangle.  Same as above.  Use PP16.  Rename PP16 right.
Highlight GradientRectangle.  Same as above, but add NEW RASTER LAYER.  COPY AND PASTE INTO SELECTION PP 14.  Change the blend mode to screen and DO NOT delete gradient layer.
Highlight Circle.  Same as above.  Grab the CU of tube if you are using the same one.  C/P and move into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - INVERT.  Duplicate tube layer. ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to SCREEN.
New Raster Layer - Element 36 - Copy and paste into selection.  Change BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L) and reduce opacity to 50%.
Highlight WordsWithGlow.  Grab your magic wand and click in the middle of each word.  Once all is selected.  C/P PP23 and INVERT then DELETE. DO NOT delete WordsWithGlow layer.
(see tag for placements)

Now the Tube layer:
This is where I put the full size of the tube layer.  Move to the far right corner.
(see tag for placement)

Now for some elements:
Element 47 – C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to top middle of tag.  Make sure layer is under Circle layer.
(see tag for placement)
Element 58 – C/P and move to top right corner of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.  Make sure layer is under Circle layer.
(see tag for placement)
Element 25 – C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag behind WordsWithGlow.
(see tag for placement)
Element 75 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 30 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to top right side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 84 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom middle side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 95 - C/P and move to top middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Now for the mask layer:
Open PP22.
Highlight very bottom layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and paste PP22 into Selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED – CHOOSE WSL 84 from the drop down menu – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 110%.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.
Let me know what you think of this tutorial.
