PTU Vintage Lily

This tutorial was written by me on August 5, 2013.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version would work.

Artist: Ellie Milk
This is an exclusive tube from a friend and can only be picked up if you are a member of their exclusive club at Pics For Design  HERE

Scrap Kit:  Vintage by Amy Marie's Kits
You can buy this exclusive kit at Amy Marie's Kits  HERE
Mask: WSL 84  HERE
Font:  ITC Zapf Chancery Font  HERE

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open PP2.  Open mask and minimise.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste PP2 into selection.
 Go to LAYERS –
NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL Mask 84 – OK.
Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 110%.

Let’s do the frame layer now:
Element 34 – C/P and leave where it lands.
Grab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of all three frames.
SELECTIONS – MODIFY – EXPAND 6 PIXELS.
New Raster Layer.  Move under frame layer.  Open PP6.  SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.
Copy and paste into selection.  Try using a tube that has a CU layer.
Grab selected CU of tube.  C/P and move into position.  I re-sized mine 65%. Grab your magic wand again and click in the middle of the top section of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 6 pixels - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - INVERT.
Do the same for the other two sections of the frame.  I chose to change the directions of the tube for each section.  I also merged down all three versions of the tube layers.  Duplicate tube layers.
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L) and reduce opacity to 61.
(see tag for placements)

Now for some elements:
Element 6 – C/P and move to bottom left side of tag and move under frame and tube layers.  Duplicate and mirror then flip copy.
(see tag for placement)
Element 40 – C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to top right corner over frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 57 – C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 36 – C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to right side of tag over element 57.
(see tag for placement)
Element 37 – C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to right side of element 36 and over 57.
(see tag for placement)
Element 21 – C/P and re-size 90%.  Move to bottom left side of tag beside frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 90 – C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to top left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 89 – C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to top left corner under element 90.
(see tag for placement)
Element  56 - C/P and move to bottom and sorta middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Now the tube layer:
If you are using the same tube as me,
C/P tube and re-size 50%.  Move down and a bit left so she looks like she is sitting on element 56.
(see tag for placement)

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black
