PTU Dia De Los Muertos

Artist: Ida Larsen @ Dreamscape Imaging
You can find her tubes HERE
Scrap Kit: Darkness Inside by Devilish Dezines
You can find this kit HERE
Mask: WSL59 HERE
Font: Jive HERE

Here goes:
Start a new image 700 X 700 - Transparent.

Element 22 - C/P and resize 85%
Element 24 - C/P and resize 70% - Mirror and move to the right.
Element 25 - C/P and resize 25% - Move to upper right corner.
Element 5 - C/P and resize 50 % - Move to left (see tag for placement).

If you want to make the tag like mine, this is what I did.
I used the "image" layer that came with my tube.  I C/P the image and moved this behind the previous layer.  I then resized the image 60% and had the face show in the window.  I used the FREEHAND SELECTION tool and created a selection around the window of element 5.  Then I highlighted the "image" layer and went to SELECTIONS - INVERT and hit my delete button.  I then merged element 5 to my image layer.

Frame3 - Resize 70% and move under leave, but above wire layer.  Grab your magic wand and click inside of frame.
SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND - 8
Paper 1 - C/Paste into selection.  SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.

Element 7 - C/P and resize 70% - move to middle of frame and under frame layer.
Change the blend mode of this layer to OVERLAY and change the OPACITY to 57
Highlight frame layer.
Element 14 - C/P and resize 50% - Move down to bottom, middle of frame.
Element 19 - C/P and resize 50% - Move to the bottom right of tag.
Element 11 - C/P and resize 30% - Move to bottom right of tag.
Element 1 - C/P and resize 25% - Move above tower.  Duplicate and move the copy layer under tower layer.  Toggle these two layers.  Click on ERASER TOOL.  I used these settings:

Open tube.  C/P and mirror.  Move her so she seems to be sitting on Element 14.

Add drop shadow to all layers of your choice.  I use:
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

Now, the mask layer.

Highlight very bottom layer.
Open Paper3
SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - NEW RASTER LAYER - C/PASTE INTO SELECTION Paper3 - SELECTION NONE
LAYERS - NEW MASK LAYER - FROM IMAGE - SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED - WSL59 - OK - MERGE GROUP
IMAGE - RESIZE - 105%
(if mask is not dark enough for you, you can duplicate it and then merge down)

Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .PNG and resize if you wish.
I resize before I save and add name and © info.

Let me know what you think of this tutorial. Thanks for taking a look.
