PTU Natural Beauty Too

This tutorial was written by me on October 11, 2013.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version would work.

Artist: Arthur Crowe

Do not use this tube unless you have a license.
Scrap Kit: Natural Beauty by Creation By Sanie
You can find this kit at Arthur Crowe's Factory  HERE
Mask: WSL 116 (Wee Scott Lass)  HERE
Template: Template 161 by Horseplay Pasture  HERE
Font:
Mardian Demo
Font  HERE

Here goes:

The Template first:

Open template in PSP.  Hold down SHIFT button and tap your “D” key.  Close the original template.  Delete the “Credits” layer with her CR info.

I don't like a white background unless I really need one, so I clear the white background by highlighting the Raster 1layer and go to
EDIT - CLEAR.

Next I changed the canvas size to 800 X 800.  We are gonna do basically the same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:

Highlight layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE

Delete layers.

So it will go something like this:

You will be changing these layers: Raster 1, 2 3, 5, and 6. Delete all other layers.

Lets get started:
Highlight Raster 1.  Follow directions above.  Use P11.  Rename it P11 - R1.
Highlight Raster 2.  Same as above.  Use P11.  Rename orange P11 - R2.
Highlight Raster 3.  Same as above.  Use P12.  Rename P12 - R3.
Highlight Raster 5.  Same as above.  Use P12.  Rename P12 - R5.
Highlight Raster 6.  Same as above.  Use P1.  Rename P1 - R6.
Let  lock these layers and move them all to the upper left corner.
(see tag for placement)

We are gonna use our tube now.
If you are using the same one as me, grab the medium CU.  C/P and move over P1-R6.
Highlight the P1-R6 and go to SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE-FLOAT - SELECTIONS - INVERT - Highlight tube layer, then hit DELETE.  Duplicate tube layer.  On the copy of tube layer:
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to OVERLAY.
(see tag for placement)

Now for some elements:
Fall Cluster - C/P this layer over P12-R5.  Re-size 80% and move it up to the left corner under P1-R6.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move copy to bottom right corner of P1-R6
(see tag for placement)
Element 01 - C/P this layer OVER the template layers.  Re-size 80% and move it down to the bottom part of layer P1-R6.
(see tag for placement)
Scarecrow - C/P and re-size 60%. Move to bottom left side in front of element 01.
(see tag for placement)
Autumn Candle 1 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Mirror and move to bottom left side in front of Scarecrow and element 01.
(see tag for placement)
Pumpkin Patch - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to bottom left side of tag in front of Scarecrow.
(see tag for placement)
Autumn Basket - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to bottom left side in front of pumpkin patch and autumn candle.
(see tag for placement)

Now for the tube:
If you are using the same tube as me, C/P the full version of the tube.  Re-size by 85%.  Move to far right side of tag.  I also used the leaf layer that came with the tube and placed it up top but behind her head.  I also move that layer under the tube layer.

Now for the mask layer:
Open P14.
Highlight very bottom layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and paste P14 into Selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED – CHOOSE WSL 116 from the drop down menu – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 110% and mirror.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing. I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.
Let me know what you think of this tutorial.
