PTU Sapphire Dreams

This tutorial was written by me on May 21, 2015.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Mask: WSL 3  HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 1.  Open mask (WSL 3) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 1 into selection.
Duplicate and merge down.
(see tag for placement)
This will be the frame layer:
Frame 3C/P and re-size 65%.  Move up on tag.  Make sure Frame 3 layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.    SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 10 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 6.
Keep selected.  Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are going to use the same tube as me, grab her now.  Go to LAYERS - NEW RASTER LAYER - then C/Paste the tube into selection.
(see tag for placement)
Now onto some elements:
Element 27 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror, then move to upper right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 35 - C/P and move to upper middle of tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER the frame layer(s).  Now, grab your selection tool.  Create a rectangle around the middle of the frame of the window.  Go to LAYERS - NEW RASTER LAYER and move that layer under element 35.  Then open paper 5.  C/Paste paper 5 into selection.  Keep selected.
(see tag for placement)
Element 19 - Go to LAYERS - NEW RASTER LAYER.  Move new raster layer under element 35 but over paper 5. C/Paste into selection, element 19 over paper 5.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).
(see tag for placement)
Element 30 - C/P and move to bottom right side of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror, then move up a bit on tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 13 - C/P and re-size 65%.  Move to upper left corner of frame.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror, then flip and move it so that it looks like one of twinkles in on the lips of the tube.
(see tag for placement)
Element 11 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to upper right side of right screen.  Free rotate 30º right.
(see tag for placement)
Element 10 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to upper left side of left screen.  Free rotate 30º left.
(see tag for placement)
Word Art 2 - C/P and leave in the middle of tag over frame and other layers.  I used a drop shadow on word art to help it stand out.  I used the following settings.
*NOTE* the color I used for this drop shadow is white.  All other drop shadows use black for the color.
(see tag for placement)
Element 26 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 2 - C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to bottom left side of tag over element 26, like it is sitting on the bench.
(see tag for placement)
Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black
