PTU Just A Little Bit Kinky

This tutorial was written by me on January 17 2014.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version will do.

Scrap Kit: IB Scrap Kit - Pin Up Toons April 2013 by Monti's Scraps
You can buy this kit at Creative Design Outlet  HERE
Template: Template - 2 by True Taggin' Love   HERE
Mask: WSL 84  HERE

Here goes:

The Template first:
Open template in PSP.  Hold down SHIFT button and tap your “D” key.  Close the original template.  Delete the “Credits” layer with her CR info.

Next thing I did was re-size this template to 600 X 600 and then changed the CANVAS SIZE to 700 X 700.  To do those two things, go to IMAGE - RE-SIZE - make sure re size all layers and lock aspect ratio is checked - In PIXEL DIMENSIONS drop down menu, choose PIXELS.  Change the tag size from 468 X 468 to 600 X 600.  Then go to IMAGE - CANVAS SIZE - and change WIDTH AND HEIGHT to 700 X 700.

We are gonna do basically the same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:
Highlight layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper(s) - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE
Delete layer.

So it will go something like this:
You will be changing these layers: bars, x shape and oval.  We will leave the rest as is.
Highlight bars.  Use directions above.  Using Paper 1.  Rename it Paper 1 - bars.
Highlight x shape.  Same as above.  Using Paper 3.  Rename Paper 3 - x shape.
Highlight oval.  Same as above.  Using Paper 6.  Rename Paper 6 - oval.  Move all layers to the upper right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Now for the mask layer:
I used Paper 4.  Open mask (WSL 84), then minimize.
Highlight very bottom layer.  SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and paste Paper 4 into Selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED – CHOOSE WSL 84 from the drop down menu – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

Now for some elements:
Element 6 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom but a little right on tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 7 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom but a little right on tag under element 6.
(see tag for placement)
Element 4 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom but a little left on tag beside elements 6 & 7.
(see tag for placement)
Element 19 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Element 18 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner over element 19.
(see tag for placement)
Element 15 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner over elements 18 & 19.
(see tag for placement)
Element 1 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom of tag under elements 6, 7 and 19.
(see tag for placement)
Element 12 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to top left corer.
(see tag for placement)
Element 11 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Free rotate 20º left and move to top right corner.
(see tag for placement)

Now for the tube layer:
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P and move her to the bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.
Let me know what you think of this tutorial.
