PTU Vintage Romance

This tutorial was written by me on January 14, 2015.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Scrap Kit: Vintage Romance by Scrappin With Lil Ole Me

Mask: WSL 84 and WSL 287  HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 24 & Paper 22.  Open mask(s) (WSL 287 & WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 24 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 287 – OK.
New raster layer - SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - Copy and paste Paper 22 into selection.  Go to LAYERS - NEW MASK LAYER - FROM IMAGE - SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED - from menu, find WSL 84 - ok. 
Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:   
Element 64C/P and leave it where it lands.
Element 68 - C/P over element 64 and leave it where it lands also.
Make sure element 64 layer is highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 10 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 21.  Keep selected.
Now grab the close up version of the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 50%, then move her into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.
Duplicate the tube layer.
On the original tube layer, change BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L).
On Copy Of Tube layer, go to ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.  Then change the BLEND MODE to HARD LIGHT.

Now onto some elements: 
Element 11 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to top right side of frame.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 65 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to top left corner of frame.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER the frame layer(s).

Element 67 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom left corner of frame.

Element 19 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom right side of frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 37 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to right side of frame.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 27 - C/P and re-size 15%.  Move to right side of frame over the top of element 37.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 51 - C/P and re-size 35%.  Move to bottom right side of frame.
(see tag for placement)
Element 21 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag in front of element 51.

Element 17 - C/P and re-size 15%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag in front of element 21.

Element 43 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
 
Now for the tube layer(s): 
If you are using the same one as me, grab your chosen version now.  C/P and move to bottom middle of tag on top of all other layers.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I add name and © info and then save.
