PTU Joyeux Noel

This tutorial was written by me on November 15, 2014.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Mask: WSL 84  HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 7.  SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 6 into selection.
Go to EFFECTS - AAA FRAMES and use the following settings.
Open Paper 8.  Open a New Raster Layer.  Keep mask (WSL 84) open and minimized.  Go to SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - Copy and paste Paper 8 into selection.  Go to LAYERS - NEW MASK LAYER - FROM IMAGE - SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED fro menu, find WSL 84 - OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:   
Element 47C/P and move it just a little to the left.  Make sure Element 47 layer is highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of all empty areas in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 3.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab the Close Up now.  C/P and move her into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.
Duplicate the tube layer.
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and leave the original tube layer on MULTIPLY.

Now onto some elements: 
Element 21  - C/P and move to the bottom left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 13 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Move to top right corner of frame.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 52- C/P and move to far left side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 118 - C/P and re-size 55%.  Move to right side of frame.

 Element 110- C/P and re-size 53%.  Move to bottom of frame.  Duplicate and move copy to top of frame.  Grab eraser tool and erase the parts that look like they would go around the frame.

Element 2 - C/P and re-size 25%. Move to top right corner of frame over element 118 and element 110.

Element 33 - C/P and re-size 55%.  Move to bottom middle of frame.

Element 43 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom right corner of frame.

Element 115 - C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to bottom right on tag, but left side of element 43.

Element 41 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom right side of tag and to the right side of element 43.

I placed the tube layer(s) here:
If you are using the same one as me, grab the version you like now.  C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left side of tag.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I add name and © info and then save.
