PTU Isabella

This tutorial was written by me on October 1, 2014.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP X6 but any version would work.

Do not use this tube unless you have a license.
Scrap Kit: Steampunk by Daniela E

Mask: WSL 84  HERE

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 4.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 4 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down. 
Re-size 115%.
 
This will be the frame layer:   
Element 8C/P and re-size 75%.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlightedGrab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.   
SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 3.  Keep selected.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab the close up now.  C/P and move her into position.
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.
Duplicate the tube layer.  
Go to ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of the copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and leave the original tube layer on MULTIPLY.

Now onto some elements: 
137  - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 7 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.  This layer is also UNDER the frame layer(s).

  Element 29 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom middle of tag.  Make sure this layer, and all other layer(s), are OVER the frame layer(s).

Element 15 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 59- C/P and move to bottom right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 75 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom right side of tag in front of element 15. 
(see tag for placement)
Element 27 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner in front of element 59.
(see tag for placement)
Element 25 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag in front of element 59.
(see tag for placement)
Element 98 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom right side of tag but to the left of element 25.

Element 124 - C/P and re-size 20%.  Move to bottom left between element 75 and element 29.

Element 119 - C/P and re-size 45%.  Move to top left corner of frame.
(see tag for placement)
 
I placed the tube layer(s) here:
If you are using the same tube as me.  C/P and mirror.  Move to left side of tag in front of element 75 and element 124.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I've used
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I add name and © info and then save.

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer(s): 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open Paper 9.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 9 into selection.

Lets do some elements now:
Element 110 - C/P and move to bottom left side of tag.

Element 10  - C/P and move to upper middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Frame 9 - C/P and move to upper middle of tag over element 10.
(see tag for placement)
Element 5 - C/P and move to upper middle of tag over element(s) 110 and 10.  It should look like drapes over a window with the moon and bats to be seen beyond the window.

Element 107 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom left side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 56 - C/P and move to bottom left of tag in front of element 107.
(see tag for placement)
Element 70 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left side of tag in front, but to the left of, element 56.
(see tag for placement)
Element 109 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to bottom left side, but left of element 70.
(see tag for placement)
Element 46 - C/P and re-size 35%.  Move to left side of tag over element 109 like it is sitting on platform.
(see tag for placement)
Element 68 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Mirror and move to far right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 33 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to top right side of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 18 - C/P and re-size 35%.  Move to top left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 12 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom left side of tag in front of element 70.
(see tag for placement)
Element 67 - C/P and mirror and move to bottom middle of tag. 
(see tag for placement)
Element 78 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom of tag to look like it's sitting on chair (element 67).
(see tag for placement)

Now for the tube(s):
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to side of tag.

V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.

Save and add name and © info.
