PTU Deployment

Here goes: 
PTU Deployment 
 
This tutorial was written by me on April 23, 2014. 
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental. 
I used PSPx2 but any version will do.

Scrap Kit: Deployment by Horseplay's Pasture Designs
You can buy this kit at Scraps From The Heart Store  HERE 
Mask: WSL 84  HERE 
 
 Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800. 
Open Paper 8.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize. 
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste Paper 8 into selection. 
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

Now for the frame: 
Element 17 - C/P and re-size 90%.  Move it down just a bit on tag.
Make sure your frame layer is still highlighted.
Grab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.
SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection Paper 17.
I then grabbed element 12.  C/P and moved it to the left side of paper layer.   Leave selected as this will be used later with CU of tube.
Next I grabbed element 52.  C/P and re-sized 75%.
Leave in middle of paper.  IMAGE - FREE ROTATE - LEFT 35º.
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one(s) as me, grab it now.  I used the close up here. 
C/P and re-size 65%.  Move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.
Duplicate the tube layer.
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to LUMINANCE (L) and lowered the opacity to 50%.

 Lets do some elements now:
Element 31 - C/P and move to left side of tag.  Make sure this layer is UNDER all the frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 28 - C/P and move to bottom left side of tag.  Make sure this layer is also UNDER all frame layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 42 - C/P and move to bottom left side of tag.  Make sure this and all other layers are posted OVER all other layer(s).  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 48 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 15 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to bottom left side of tag beside element 48.

Element 25 - C/P and move to top middle of tag.  I used a white drop shadow.  Using the same settings as below but using COLOR WHITE and I did it again but changed the V & H #'s to -2.

 I place the tube layer(s) here:
If you are using the same tube as me, grab your choice of her now.  C/P and mirror.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.
I used: 
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.


I re-size before I save and add name and © info.

Scrap Kit: Spring Toadly Amazing by Horseplay's Pasture Designs
This kit can be found   HERE
Mask: WSL 254 HERE

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer:
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open P1.  Open mask (WSL 254) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste P1 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 254 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 110%.
 Lets do some elements now:
Element 26 - C/P and move down on tag.  Duplicate and mirror.  Duplicate again and move up on tag.  Duplicate one more time and mirror.

Element 79 - C/P and move it up and to the right a bit so it is in the middle of tag.

Element 33 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to right side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 14 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to left side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 19 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to left side of tag in front of element 14.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 44 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to left side, but to right side of element 14.
(see tag for placement)
Element 45 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move over element 44 then mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 15 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to left side of tag in front of element 19.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 35 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to far right side of tag.
(see tag for placement) 
Element 67 - C/P and re-size 35%.  Move to far right side of tag so it's under element 35.

Element 27 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to far left side of tag over element 14
(see tag for placement)
Element 11 - C/P and re-size 30%.  Move to far right side of tag over element 33
(see tag for placement)
Element 47 - C/P and move down but keep it in the middle of the tag.
(see tag for placement)   

Now for the tube(s):
If you are using the same tags as I, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 80%. Move her so she looks like she is sitting on the bench.  That's pretty much the middle of the tag.

 I used: 
V & H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black

 Now you can add name and  © information.  Save as .png and re-size if you wish.

Save and add name and © info.

PTU Love At First Site

Scrap Kit: Love At First Site by Horseplay Pasture

Mask: WSL 84  HERE 

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open P19.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste P19 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Element 7 – C/P and leave it where it lands.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlighted.  Grab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels - INVERT.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection P12.  Keep selected.  
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab the CU now.  C/P and re-size 90%.  Move her into position. 
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT.  
Duplicate the tube layer.  
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to LUMINANCE (L).  Reduce OPACITY to 70%.

Some elements now:
Element 52 - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.  Duplicate, mirror and flip.  Make sure this layer is UNDER all frame layers.

Element 13 - C/P and move to bottom middle of frame.  Make sure this layer is OVER all frame layers.
(see tag for placement)
Element 17 - C/P and re-size 75%.  Mirror and move to bottom left corner of frame.  Duplicate and mirror then flip.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 22 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to top middle of frame over staples.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 40 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to top over middle of element 22.
(see tag for placement)
Element 2 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Move to top middle of frame over element 40.
(see tag for placement)
Element 49 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)

I place the tube layer here: 
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P and mirror her.  Move to far right corner of tag.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.

Scrap Kit: Promise by Horseplay Pasture

Mask: WSL 78  HERE 

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open P8.  Open mask (WSL 78) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste P8 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 78 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Element 10 – C/P and move it up just a bit.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlighted.  Grab your magic wand.  Click in the middle of frame.  SELECTIONS - MODIFY - EXPAND 8 pixels - INVERT.
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection P4.
I didn't use tube(s) in this frame, I used elements... so here goes
Element 41 - C/P and re-size 90%.  Move to right side of frame.

Element 15 - C/P and move to top left corner of frame.  Duplicate and mirror then flip (see tag for placements)

Some elements now:
Element 75 - C/P and move to bottom left corner of tag.  Duplicate and mirror then flip.  Make sure this layer is under all frame layers.

Element 47 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to top right corner of frame.  Make sure this layer is now the top layer and every other element will go OVER this one.

Element 40 - C/P and move to bottom middle of frame.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 74 - C/P and and free rotate 90º left and move to left side of frame.  Duplicate and mirror and make sure copy is on right side of frame.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 39 - C/P and move to top left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 69 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Mirror and move to bottom left corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 66 - C/P and re-size 50%.  Mirror and move to bottom left corner over element 69.
(see tag for placement)

I place the tube layer here: 
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 60%.  Move her to the right side of tag.

PTU My Life My Moment

Scrap Kit: My Life My Moment by Horseplay Pasture

Mask: WSL 84  HERE
Filter:  Eye Candy 4000 

Here goes:

Let’s start with the mask layer: 
New Raster – 800 X 800.
Open P13.  Open mask (WSL 84) and minimize.
SELECTIONS – SELECT ALL – Copy and paste P13 into selection.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE - CHECKED – from menu, find WSL 84 – OK.  Duplicate and merge down.  Re-size 115%.

This will be the frame layer:  
Element 23 – C/P and leave frame where it lands.  Make sure your frame layer is still highlighted.  Grab your selection tool.  Draw a rectangle around the middle of the frame. 
NEW RASTER LAYER - C/Paste into selection P3.
Keep selected.  
Now grab the tube you are using.  If you are using the same one as me, grab the CU of it now.  C/P and move her into position.  
SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - INVERT. Duplicate the tube layer.  
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK.
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and change the original tube layer to MULTIPLY and reduce opacity to 70%.

Some elements now:
Element 31 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to top left corner of tag.  Duplicate and mirror then flip.  Make sure these layers is under the frame layers.

Element 65 - C/P and re-size 85%.  Move to right middle side of tag.  Duplicate and mirror.  Make sure these layers are under the frame layers.
(see tag for placement)
Element 52 - C/P and re-size 60%.  Move to bottom right corner of frame.  Duplicate and mirror.  Make sure this layer is over the frame layers.
(see tag for placement)   
Element 66 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom of frame.
(see tag for placement)
 Element 10 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom left corner of frame.  Duplicate and mirror.
(see tag for placement)
Element 9 - C/P and re-size 35%.  Move to bottom left corner of frame but to the right side of element 10.
(see tag for placement)
Element 64 - C/P and re-size 40%.  Move to bottom right corner of tag.
(see tag for placement)
Element 27 - C/P and move to top middle of tag.
(see tag for placement)
I did a gradient glow around this word art.  I used Eye Candy 4000 and used these settings:

Element 12 - C/P and re-size 70%.  Move to bottom middle of frame.

Element 37 - C/P and move to bottom middle of tag in front of element 12.
(see tag for placement)

I place the tube layer here: 
If you are using the same tube as me, grab it now.  C/P and re-size 60%.  Mirror and move her to the far left corner of tag.
