PTU Birthday Celebration
This tutorial was written by me on August 3, 2013.
It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely
coincidental.
I used PSPx2 but any version would work.

Here goes:
The Template first:
Open template in PSP. Hold down
SHIFT button and tap your “D” key. Close
the original template. I don't like a white background unless I really need one, so I clear the
white background by highlighting the RASTER 1 layer and go to EDIT - CLEAR. Next
I changed the canvas size to 800 X 800. We are gonna do basically the
same thing for the following layers, so in an effort to stop repeating
myself, here is what you will do for each layer that we change out:
Highlight layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL - FLOAT - DE FLOAT
Open Paper - C/P - SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT
NONE
Delete layer.
So it will go something like this:
You will be changing raster layers 1 thru 10.
We will rename these paper layers to make this tutorial make sense.
Highlight 1. Follow directions above. Use PP 28. Rename Paper 28a.
Highlight 2. Same as above. Use PP 28. Rename Paper 28b.
Highlight 3. Same as above. Use PP 14. Rename Paper 14.
Highlight 4. Same as above. Use PP 25. Rename Paper 25.
Highlight 5. Same as above. Use PP 32. Rename Paper32a
Highlight 6. Same as above. Use PP 32. Rename Paper32b
Highlight 7. Same as above. Use PP 11. Rename Paper 11.
Highlight 8. Same as above. Use PP 9. Rename Paper 9.
Highlight 9. Same as above. Use PP 3. Rename Paper 3
Highlight 10. Same as above. Use PP 29. Rename Paper 29
For this tag, if you are using the same tube as me,
Highlight Paper 29 layer. Grab your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL and using the same settings, try to stay as close to the edge as possible, start clicking along the edge till you get all the top part of that layer selected.
C/P the tube and re-size 60%. Move into position and go to SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - INVERT. Duplicate the tube. On the copy layer,
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to SCREEN.

Now for some elements:
Element 207 – C/P and move to bottom left corner.

Element 135 – C/P and move to bottom left corner and on left side of element 207.

Element 51 – C/P and re-size 50%. Move to bottom left corner in front of element 207.
(see tag for placement)
Element 48 – C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom left corner on the right side of element 51.

Element 127 – C/P and re-size 30%. Move to bottom left corner in front of element 135.
(see tag for placement)
Element 36 – C/P and re-size 20%. Move to bottom left corner in front of element 48 and 51.

Element 196 – C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom left corner in front of element 135.

Element 199 – C/P and re-size 40%. Move to bottom left corner in front of element 135 and on left side of element 127.

Now for the mask layer:

Open PP 23.
Highlight very bottom layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and Paste PP 23 into Selection. Open element 155. Add new raster layer and send to bottom. Flood fill with white.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED –
INVERT MASK DATA CHECKED - CHOOSE Element 155 from the drop down menu – OK.
Now the tube layer:
If you are using the same tube as me, choose the colors you like, C/P the full tube move over to right side of tag and re-size 45%.

Add drop shadow to layers of your choosing.

Opacity 70
Blur 7
Color Black
Now you can add name and © information. Save as .png
and re-size if you wish.
I re-size before I save and add name and © info.

Elements 28 – C/P and move to bottom middle of tag. OK, so this is what I did and it might be a bit complicated. So I moved this down to the bottom of tag. Then I duplicated this layer and moved up and over to the right side of tag under 23. I then duplicated THIS layer and mirrored it. I wanted more grass, so I then duplicated this layer and moved it down and kept doing that till I got the result I wanted. I then merged all the grass layers down and didn't think I quite needed that much grass (You know how it goes when your making a tag... LOL) So then I grabbed my eraser tool and started erasing a bit of each side of the grass to soften the look of the grass and not take over the bottom of the tag. I also erased some of element 23 and copy of element 23 to kind of match. I used the following settings:

Element 24 – C/P and re-size 65%. Move down a to the middle of the grass.

Element 7 – C/P and move down just a little. Duplicate and mirror.

Element 36 – C/P and re-size 50%. Move to left side of tag. Duplicate and mirror.

Element 13 – C/P and re-size 50%. Move down between element 36 and copy of element 36.

Element 42 - C/P and re-size 20%. Move to bottom of tag over element 24.

If you are using the same tube as

tube and move over layer using element 24 (water). I moved the tube down just a little. Duplicate the tube. On the copy layer,
ADJUST – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR – RADIUS 25 - OK
Change BLEND MODE of copy of tube layer to HARD LIGHT and go to original tube layer and change BLEND MODE to OVERLAY.

The Mask Layer:
Open Paper 8.
Highlight very bottom layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and Paste Into Selection Paper 8.
Highlight very bottom layer. SELECTIONS - SELECT ALL
Copy and Paste Into Selection Paper 8.
Go to LAYERS – NEW MASK LAYER – FROM IMAGE – SOURCE LUMINANCE CHECKED –
CHOOSE WSL 84 from the drop down menu – OK. Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 110%.
I felt it needed something more, so I did another mask. Here's how that went: Open Paper 2. New Raster Layer - LAYERS - ARRANGE - SEND TO BOTTOM - LAYER - NEW MASK LAYER - FROM IMAGE - SOURSE LUMINANCE CHECKED - CHOOSE WSL 81 from drop down menu - Duplicate and merge down. Re-size 110%.
The elements:
Frame - C/P and move up close to top of tag.

Door – C/P and move up on tag just a little bit.

Curtain – C/P and move behind door to the right. Duplicate and mirror. Make sure it's behind the door too.

Chest– C/P and re-size 70%. Move to right bottom side of door.

Book – C/P and re-size 30%. Move to bottom right corner of chest

Pillow – C/P and re-size 70%. Move to bottom right side of tag in front of door and chest. Duplicate pillow. Re-size this copy by 80%. Move to middle left side of door.

Bow - C/P and re-size 30%. Move to top face of pillow.
(see tag for placement)
Bow - C/P and re-size 30%. Move to top face of pillow.
(see tag for placement)
Kitties – C/P and re-size 35%. Move to top of copy of pillow and bow.

Champagne– C/P and re-size 35%. Move to right side of tag on top of chest.

Mirror – C/P and move to left side of doors. Grab FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL and select the inner part of mirror. Use the following setting:
C/P the tube. Re-size 40% and mirror so it looks like her reflection in the mirror. SELECTIONS - INVERT - DELETE - SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE. Change BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L).
